Terms & Conditions

Welcome to St Rose Car Rental Services. By booking or using our vehicles, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any reservation.

1. Eligibility Requirements

  • The renter must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Drivers must hold a valid driving licence for a minimum of 2 years.
  • An international driving permit (IDP) may be required for non-local residents.
  • Valid identification (passport or national ID) must be provided.

2. Booking and Payment

  • Reservations can be made online, via phone, or in person.
  • A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking.
  • Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and approved digital payments.
  • Prices are quoted in Eastern Caribbean Dollars (XCD) or equivalent currency.

3. Security Deposit

  • A refundable security deposit is required at the time of vehicle collection.
  • The deposit will be refunded within 5–10 business days after vehicle return, subject to inspection.
  • Any damages, fines, or additional charges will be deducted.

4. Vehicle Collection and Return

  • Vehicles must be returned at the agreed date, time, and location.
  • Late returns may incur additional hourly or daily charges.
  • The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as provided, excluding reasonable wear and tear.

5. Fuel Policy

  • Vehicles are provided with a specified fuel level and must be returned with the same level.
  • Failure to comply will result in refuelling charges at market rates plus service fees.

6. Usage Restrictions

The renter agrees:

  • Not to use the vehicle for illegal purposes.
  • Not to drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Not to sublet or allow unauthorised drivers.
  • Not to use the vehicle for racing, towing, or off-road driving unless permitted.

7. Insurance and Liability

  • Basic insurance coverage is included unless otherwise stated.
  • The renter is responsible for any deductible/excess amount in case of damage.
  • Optional insurance upgrades may be available at additional cost.
  • In case of an accident, the renter must:
    • Notify local authorities immediately.
    • Inform St Rose Car Rental Services without delay.

8. Damage and Loss

  • The renter is liable for any loss, theft, or damage during the rental period.
  • Charges will apply for:
    • Body damage
    • Interior damage
    • Lost keys or documents
  • Repair costs and administrative fees may be applied.

9. Traffic Violations and Fines

  • The renter is responsible for all traffic violations, parking fines, and penalties incurred during the rental period.
  • Administrative charges may apply for processing fines.

10. Breakdown and Roadside Assistance

  • In case of mechanical failure, contact our support team immediately.
  • We provide basic roadside assistance within St Lucia.
  • Misuse of the vehicle leading to breakdown may incur charges.

11. Amendments

  • St Rose Car Rental Services reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
  • Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Saint Lucia, and any disputes shall be subject to local jurisdiction.
